THE KILLING OF HARRY KELLY:
A Case Study in A Lethal Dose of Institutional Fraud
This Collection of articles represents ongoing coverage of a shameful clinical crime.
That crime took the form of a falsified diagnosis and a coerced, highly unnecessary “euthanasia” of a deeply loved pet, my precious little Papillon, Harry.
I posit that Harry’s clinical killing (it was NOT “euthanasia”) stemmed from a combination of gross veterinary malpractice, staff arrogance and negligence, recklessness in the convenience-driven administration of a potent cocktail of sedatives contraindicated for a specific condition they knew he had.
All this, combined with possibly an ulterior motive (in the form of retribution for my persistent advocacy for Harry’s welfare and for the welfare of other people’s pets . . . which I had several times seen at risk through the lazy, arrogant, negligent and irresponsible culture of Massey University’s Companion Animal Hospital.
