THE KILLING OF HARRY KELLY: A Case Study in A Lethal Dose of Institutional Fraud

This is an introduction to the Series represented by the preceding sequence of articles. It represents ongoing coverage of a shameful clinical crime committed by staff and management of Massey University's Companion Animal Hospital . . . New Zealand's supposed 'gold standard' veterinary teaching hospital.
That crime took the form of a falsified diagnosis and a coerced, highly unnecessary “euthanasia” (that was NOT a "euthanasia" but a calculated, evidence-erasing, clinic killing) of a deeply loved pet, my own deeply loved and precious little Papillon, Harry.
In this ongoing Special Feature Series, I lay out what will appear clearly as I posit that Harry’s clinical killing (it was NOT “euthanasia”) stemmed from a combination of clinical arrogance and what the hospital's ICU staff saw as the necessarily self-preserving destruction of evidence . . . with that evidence being Harry himself.
This coverage is the forensic deep-dive investigation into Massey University’s supposed “premier” international veterinary teaching facility's actions . . . with accompanying articles on the numerous regulatory and industry veterinary code of professional conduct breaches, and the accompanying culture that facilitates them with accountability.
The ongoing Series will be presented in multiple Phases of coverage, beginning with Phase 1:
The Clinical Crime:
The undisclosed sedation, the fraudulent, manufactured diagnosis, and the coercive tactics employed by the Companion Animal Hospital’s veterinary staff to dupe Harry’s owner (me) into authorising the killing of my beloved dog under false pretences.
