And A Reminder to Massey:
I Will Continue Exposing the Dark Underbelly of Your Despicable Institution Until Every Pet Owner in New Zealand Is Warned & Every Potential Student Is Made Aware of Precisely What You 'Teach'

OPEN LETTER TO MPI DIRECTOR GENERAL RAY SMITH . . . WHO PULLED YOUR 'INVESTIGATORS' OFF THE CASE AND WHY? OR WAS THAT ALWAYS THE INTENTION OF YOUR ASSIGNEES?
My forthcoming Open Letter to Ministry of Primary Industries (MPI) Director General Ray Smith will challenge him to come clean as to why he ordered an investigation of Massey and its Companion Animal Hospital back in March and then - being fully appraised of the collusive correspondence between Massey's Dean of Veterinary "Science" Jon Huxley and the Veterinary Council's CEO Iain McLachlan that I had published, and the demonstrably cosy (understatement) relationship between the management of the two organisations - he has now overseen the sudden reversion of the imperative: "We'll find what the Veterinary Council tells us to find."
After all, none of the numerous breaches of the Animal Welfare Act 1999 - that which is HIS MINISTRY"S DIRECT MANDATE TO ENFORCE AND POLICE - have suddenly been unbreached. Worse still, multiple others have become evident through my continuing publication of evidence-inclusive articles, complete - in many instances - with graphical support.
To be noted, I was jeeringly and gloatingly advised by a Massey insider who had been anonymously emailing me to ridicule me (and my protective love for my dog) through this website for months, that the collegial bonds between the top brass at MPI and Massey would ensure the MPI investigation was “dismissed”. Turns out they knew something the rest of us need to know.
Since my 342-page report and 13-page supplementary report to MPI are going to be neatly shelved (I wonder if these were slid under the table to Massey?), I’ll be serialising their content over coming months . . . both here on The Customer & The Constituent and on the International Institute for Improvement in Veterinary Ethics (IIIVE.org).
DECEPTION, DEVIOUSNESS & DASTARDLINESS DISSECTED:
DIRECTOR OF GOVERNANCE & ASSURANCE, JODIE BANNER’S LATEST OIA 'RESPONSE' DIGS AN EVER-DEEPENING HOLE FOR MASSEY
Banner continues to dig herself and her colleagues an ever-deepening hole with her continuing Official Information Act and Privacy Act information release evasion shenanigans.
By now, she and the "leadership" of (by my direct and repeated experience) this grossly ethically-challenged "educational" institution have, it would appear, have become aware of the substantial international and continually expanding readership of The Customer & The Constituent and its sister platform, the International Institute for Improvement in Veterinary Ethics (IIIVE.org) . . . and they're obviously (finally) becoming acutely conscious of just how bad it looks for the entire university to be seen to be openly giving the middle finger to New Zealand's hallowed statutory and legal obligations related to the release of information.
After all, notwithstanding their demonstrated challenges in clinical competence and clinical ethics (per my 70+ detailed and evidence-replete published articles), their months-long overt and shameless display of administrative mischievousness is not a good look for an institution that teaches anything.
The problem is, releasing the actual information and allowing the truth to be revealed is untenable and untenably incriminating for one and all, both within the Massey top-level "leadership" and throughout every level of its Veterinary "Teaching" Hospital . . . or Companion Animal “Hospital”, as it is euphemistically known to the richly-paying clients who own the conveniently vulnerable private pets which, according to my experience and certainly that of my deceased pet, are seen by staff as nothing more than teaching stock to use and abuse (including lethally) as they so desire.
Banner – assumedly the governance "mastermind" behind the pussyfooting - has worked herself into a real hole. She can't not answer . . . and she can't answer. What a pickle.
Stay tuned for my dissection of several of her masterpieces - some historic, some her most recent. If the subject matter wasn't so decidedly unfunny, it would be funny. One thing is for sure: Banner isn't laughing any more, or she and the top brass there at Massey certainly won’t be, by the time I've done exposing them for who and what they are . . . and for what they do to our pets and are prepared to continue doing to ensure you and I never find out.
Banner’s latest insults to the intelligence landed in my inbox at 11.10pm and 11.54pm last Friday night. These ones were especially despicable. Utterly so. Stand by for their deservedly detailed and very public dissection.
IN THE INTERESTS OF MY CONTINUING HEADS-UP WARNINGS TO ALL PET OWNERS REFERRED TO MASSEY BY THEIR VETS (NB: EVEN MORE CRITICAL FOR ANYONE MAKING THE POTENTIALLY FATAL MISTAKE OF ENTRUSTING THEIR VET TO MASSEY WITHOUT THE OVERSIGHT OF A REFERRING VET)
I will finally be carrying out overdue updates to core articles to ensure "Dr" Anita Shea gets due credit for sending my dog to his death with her either beyond incompetent or intentionally false "diagnosis" to support "Dr" Steffi Jalava's intention to ensure Harry never left Massey alive through her presentation to me of (what I later learned was simply) a catastrophically sedated dog as suddenly "demented" and neurologically failing.
That is, following Jalava's and Shea's joint utilisation of Harry in their prolonged and ethically filthy torture of my beloved pet for "student education purposes" and using him for content in their student video filmfest.
MAY THEY ROT IN THE DEEPEST CAVITIES OF HELL. ETERNALLY.
JODIE BANNER:
'ALL TREATMENTS WERE PROVIDED SOLELY FOR THE BENEFIT OF HARRY KELLY'
I have some delightful stills and photos to show readers exactly what this "treatment" applied by "Dr" Steffi Jalava and "Dr"Anita Shea, their "students", the still-anonymous / missing-in-action / nonexistent November 30 overnight vet and ICU staffers actually comprised (i.e. catastrophic sedation, intentional disconnection from the rehydrating fluids that were the only and actual reason for his admission, and being used as the subject of torture and content production for student "education").
Oh, and what "benefits" Harry Kelly derived (that would be, the plan to deceive his owner, by way of a completely false diagnosis engineered by repeated, massive, undisclosed and contraindicated over-sedation, into consenting to and even participating in his totally unnecessary killing).
As I said, may they rot in hell. Each and every one of them. The hands-on torturers, the spectators, the planners, the coercers, the cover-up artists - and the "accreditation" agencies who actively turn their back on their own published "accreditation" standards.
'NO CONTROLLED DRUG REGISTER ENTRIES REQUIRED' FOR HEAVY DUTY SEDATIVES THAT LAZY ICU STAFFERS (I REFUSE TO CALL THEM 'NURSES') CAN PUMP INTO YOUR PETS AT WILL FOR THEIR OWN CONVENIENCE
I’ll provide what I firmly believe (and I think you’ll agree) is graphic evidence that Harry – already catastrophically sedated – was given even further overdoses of the completely unnecessary and contraindicated sedative (unnecessary for Harry, that is, but very strategic to Jalava’s and Shea’s student teaching purposes and their intention to present him fraudulently to me as suddenly “demented”), subsequent to the last dose that was actually recorded on his heavily doctored, redacted, and falsified records.
It’s a brave pet owner that will knowingly leave their pet in the “care” of this lot when any viable alternative exists.
AND DRUMROLL . . . 'MAKING MASSEY MONSTERS': THE SERIES
This monster-sized project will immortalise the evil of the monstrousness that prevails behind the closed doors of the Massey Companion Animal Hospital’s “Intensive Care” Unit (“ICU”).
The Making Massey Monsters Series of ebooks (which will be internationally available for public download) will also look at the culture of Massey and the closing of ranks from the very top brass down to the clinical, administrative and teaching staff level . . . even when the members of each level know the truth, or they’re part of it, and they know it’s ugly.
It will demonstrate just how dangerous the normalisation of dishonest behaviour, collusion and cover-ups is – for students, for paying clients, and most of all, for the pets of those paying private clients.
It will show the
darker side of industry and academic collegiality: that colleagues can become so loyal to (and even genuinely trusting of)
a particular person’s narrative that the situation becomes one of
tightly closed ranks throughout an entire institution.
The commencement of the Series’ release is a few months away yet . . . although, as regular readers have witnessed, I not only
keep my word; I generally also often
bring forward the delivery date on which I’ve promised to do so.
So definitely stay tuned.
